Welcome to Our New Base

The Municipality of Trent Hills and Northumberland County are thrilled to welcome you to the virtual grand opening of our community's new Emergency Services Base in downtown Campbellford.

In 2018, the Municipality and the County partnered to design and construct this new facility. Located at 50 Doxsee Avenue South, on the corner of River Street and Doxsee Avenue in Campbellford, this is a modern space for the Trent Hills Fire Department Fire Station 1, the Northumberland Paramedics' Trent Hills team, and the Municipality of Trent Hills Council Chambers, while being specifically designed to fit with the look and feel of Campbellford's historic downtown.

We broke ground in March 2019, crews moved into the facility in July 2020, and Council Chambers was finalized in September. The Trent Hills Emergency Services Base establishes a critical presence for emergency response resources in Campbellford's urban area, ensuring residents will continue to receive quick and effective aid during an emergency as the community grows.

Due to COVID-19, we are unable to invite community members to tour the facility at this time. We have therefore created this welcome video, and invite you to tune in to learn more about key features inside the new base until we can welcome you for an in-person visit in the future.
