Coordinated Access System
A Coordinated Access System (CAS), also sometimes called a Coordinated Entry System (CES), is a way for communities to design and improve existing processes in a community to help people who are experiencing homelessness get access to housing and services.
A quality Coordinated Access System uses a list of persons experiencing homelessness and a coordinated approach to meet, assess, prioritize and refer individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness to agencies in Northumberland County who may be able to offer help.
