Celebrate diversity, art and culture at the Northumberland Diversity Festival
Cobourg, ON – November 14, 2022 – Community members are invited to join Northumberland County for a celebration of cultural diversity and inclusion with art, food and performances from around the globe at the upcoming Northumberland Diversity Festival.
This community event, taking place on Saturday, November 19th, in Cobourg, highlights the many diverse cultures that enrich the Northumberland community, through a variety of dance, music and comedy performances from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m..
The entertainment lineup includes performances by Smoke Trail Drum and Dance Group, the ‘Surviving Canada’ comedy show performed by Malas Juntas, a ‘Tropical Sounds’ musical performance by LatinTrain and more. The full event schedule will be announced online over the next few days.
During the festival, attendees can shop for unique arts and crafts from a diverse collection of artisan vendors and can purchase arepas and other tasty bites from Arepa Republic to experience the delicious flavours of Venezuela.
To help support festival costs and performers, there is an entry fee of $6 per person for attendees over the age of 12. Children 12 years old and under may attend for free. Festival attendees must register in advance online or by calling the Concert Hall box office at 905-372-2210.
