Employers to recruit for jobs openings at upcoming fair

Cobourg, ON – September 24, 2014 – Building on the success of two previous job fairs that drew close to 700 people, the Community Employment Resource Partnership (CERP) will again host a Northumberland County Job Fair. Nearly 20 organizations looking to hire will meet with interested job seekers at the Cobourg Lions Community Centre on October 1, 2014, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m.

This event will showcase employers that either have current job openings or anticipate having openings in the near future. Employers will conduct interviews on-site with qualified applicants, for positions in sectors including:

  • Insurance
  • Finance
  • Recreation
  • Healthcare
  • Security
  • Marketing
  • Manufacturing
  • Food service

TruckingOrganizers once again recommend that job seekers planning to attend the Job Fair bring multiple copies of their cover letter and resume, and dress in interview-appropriate attire.
