Notice of Public Meeting: Countywide Development Charges Background Study

On Tuesday, March 24, 2020 the Council of the County of Northumberland will hold a public meeting, pursuant to the Development Charges Act, to present and obtain public input on the County’s proposed development charges (D.C.) by-law and underlying background study.

All interested parties are invited to attend the Public Meeting of Council and any person who attends the meeting may make representations relating to the proposed D.C. by-law and background study. The meeting is to be held:

Council Chambers
555 Courthouse Road, Cobourg

On February 14, 2020, the background study was made available online at Northumberland.ca/DevelopmentCharges, and copies of the proposed D.C. by-law and the background study were made available from the County Clerk at 555 Courthouse Road, Cobourg.

Interested persons may express their comments at the public meeting or in writing. If you wish to be included on the meeting agenda, written submissions must be received by the County Clerk, at the above address prior to March 17, 2020 at 4:00 p.m.
