Event: Emergency Preparedness Week

“Whereas the Corporation of County of Northumberland recognizes the importance of Emergency Management in Ontario; and

Whereas the goal of Emergency Preparedness Week is to raise community awareness and the need to prepare for the possibility of an emergency; and

Whereas the safety of our community is the responsibility of each and every one of us, we must prepare now and learn how to secure a strong and healthy tomorrow;

Now Therefore Be It Resolved That I, Warden Mandy Martin, on behalf of Northumberland County Council do hereby proclaim May 7 to May 13, 2023 as Emergency Preparedness Week in Northumberland County.”
