The role of the Human Resources department is to foster organizational effectiveness by recruiting and maintaining professional, skilled and dedicated staff to allow the County's nine departments to perform as effectively as possible. We believe our people are our most important resource and our goal is to implement programs and practices that align with our mission, vision, core values and Strategic Plan.

Student bursary

Are you interested in a career in local government?  The Ontario Municipal Administrators' Association (OMAA) offers a $5,000 bursary award for students currently enrolled in an Ontario post-secondary program that has the potential to lead to a career in local government.
