The Northumberland County Forest offers more than 40 km of ATV trails.

Rules
- Trails are closed to ATV's annually from November 1 to May 15 each year.
- Riders must be members of the Eastern Ontario Trails Alliance or the Ontario Federation of ATV (OFATV) Clubs. Please visit the clubs to purchase memberships.
- The local club for the OFATV is the NDATV Club.
- ATVs must be plated, insured and comply with all applicable provincial and municipal laws such as the Off-Road Vehicles Act and the Township of Alnwick/Haldimand ATV By-Law 64-2008.
- Respect private property.
- Respect other users.
- When encountering horseback riders, shut off your engine, remove your helmet and ask the rider for future direction.
- Do not litter.
- Do not have campfires.
- Comply with all application laws and by-laws.
The Northumberland O.P.P. and municipal by-law enforcement officers patrol the Northumberland County Forest.
