Cross-country skiing in forest

The Northumberland Forest offers a unique woodland cross-county ski experience with non-mechanically groomed trails.

From December 1 until March 31 each year, the Beagle Club Trails located west of Beagle Club Road are reserved for cross-country skiing only.

We have seven well-marked cross-country ski trail loops available at the Beagle Club Trailhead that range from our 1.6 km long Kiddie Loop to our 13.3 km long Green “A” loop.

As we are on the Oak Ridges Moraine, most trails are hilly and challenging. Benches are located throughout the trails for resting.
